FOCAS - Friends Of County Animal Shelters is a San Diego based organization started by Ms. Peggy Howell to pull pets out of the county animal shelters that are running out of time. This is an all volunteer organization which my wife Pam Mehler has joined several years ago and she has placed over 300 dogs. We have posted a few for your enjoyment as well as several ideas that we are trying to help lower the pet overpopulation.
